Another year
So,
as I made it very obvious the past week or so. Yesterday was my 22nd
Birthday! I'm so very blessed that I have lived twenty two years of
this life. And I pray out of these twenty two years I have blessed
someone daily!
This
is another year, Another year to learn from my mistakes, to make daily
choices wisely, to never forget to love without holding back and another
year to choose whats more important in life.
It's
another year to do what I'm most passionate about and that's living for
Christ! To make choices of spending more time in His love letter and
less time on Pinterest (Ooops) I've realized I've done that quite
often.
It's another year to be thankful!
Being thankful for this precious little girl I get to wake up with every morning!
And my hard working husband I get to spoil when he gets home.
And it's another year to wait patiently.
Another
year to wait patiently for being more financially stable, to finally
buy my own car and to buy a house, and to get my big girl camera.
I
have been thinking all morning about what I plan to do with another
year that God has blessed me with.. And that's when I decided that I
would just give this year to Him. Because He can do much more with this
one crazy and precious life of mine than I can.. He can bless more than I can ever
imagine, do more, heal more, speak more and listen more. I want Him to
be the writer of this story I live in.. I'll just be His fancy sharpie
pen. :)
Pictures from yesterday (Caution) There's kinda alot!
Yep, I tried the new chocolate cookie frappe. It was good but not my fav!
So sleepy after walking around the mall.
And finally fell asleep for Lunch. Perfect timing!
Yesterday was such a great day! Momma Riley and I went to the mall and hung out! She bought me some Starbucks and an outfit & we went to Panera Bread for lunch! And during that time I received a wonderful phone call from my mom & dad!
After that we went to One of our favorite Thrift stores. Well, it used to be anyways.. I wasn't too impressed with our last visit. I hate it how people let things go!
Than we went to our lake by our house. So many memories are planted there. :)
After Leon got home he surprised me by taking me out to dinner. It was lovely. It's always nice to have an adult conversation with no interruptions with my best friend!
I hope all of you are having a fabulous week!! & if you haven't played our Mommy five link up game yet. You still have 5 days before the collections close!
Love all of you. <3

Mommy Five.. #1
Hey Momma's!! Are you ready for our first Link-up today?! Sarah & I are so looking forward to getting to know you guys much better and we can't wait to hear your insights and see your answers and what you recommend as a Mommy! If you have any questions you'd like to have asked on this Link up you can email me at Heather.L.Riley.LWACW@gmail.com. Or you can just comment below. :) Have fun!
What is your Mommy's top five can't go with outs?
1. My Bible! If I don't get 30 minutes of quiet Jesus time in the morning with a hot beverage than I am honestly no good! I get my strength and patience from Him everyday and If I don't choose to spend time with Him I'm missing something huge!
2. A Mom after God's own heart devotional. If you're looking for a "Mommy Devo" I totally recommend this! Elizabeth George has such a humble heart for the Lord and every morning there is sure to be a heart check. :)
3. Mr. Giraffe. This little guy is Evelynne's bestie. She loves him. He was the first stuffed animal she's ever held and she can easily hold him because of his long skinny neck. And did I mention he plays music? She loves that part too! I always rewind it before she goes to bed. I bought this little guy at walmart when she had her first shots.
4. Baby Einstein. I can't help but think the guy who invented this simple yet genius TV show must be a millionaire by now ha! I bought all the seasons from a very nice family for 12 dollars at a yard sale once. They were originally gonna sell them for more expensive but we had a Jesus connection. They could tell we were a family who loved The Lord and I guess they felt led to sell it to us for cheaper... (But I wasn't complaining!) Evie loves these little music TV series and I feel great about letting her watch them. Their a great learning series without the annoying add to it *cough *cough Dora the explorer. For some reason Evie loves Dora. I personally find her annoying... Where's her parents anyways?? Yay for Baby Einstein!
5. My Ninja Blender.. This thing is amazing! We got it for our wedding and we love it. I use it now more than ever because I make my daughters baby food. It's great, simple and easy. If you plan on making your baby's food. I totally recommend it!
Happy Birthday to mee!! I hope you guys are having a great Wednesday! I totally give you permission to eat some junk food on this day I turn 22! Be blessed all!

Homemade Apple Sauce.
That's It. Easy Peasy! Ask your pediatrician about adding some cinnamon for new tastes if your making it for your infant. I always add just a dash of cinnamon for Evie and I both to enjoy!
Question for tomorrow's first Link-up!!
What is your mommy 5 can't live with outs? Pregnant momma's same question for you! :) It could be a book, a comfort food. Anything that helps you get through the day as a momma.
Don't forget to link up with Sarah & I tomorrow. As we both launch this new link up together! As of now we will only be doing this link up the first week of the month and the last week of the month until it starts to kick in. :) Be blessed friends!

Over coffee
I
saw the cutest little coffee shop down in Annapolis the other day while
going thrift store shopping. I didn't get to go there unfortunately because I didn't have the time.. No excuse I know! So today on this rainy Monday will you join me for coffee there? I'm sure we'd laugh and share stories, sip our warm lattes, as we both share what was on our hearts and what God has been doing in our lives lately. Wishing that the time we had would just stand still for a little while so we wouldn't even have to think about the seconds, minutes and hours. And just focus.
If I were having coffee with you on this quiet rainy Monday. I would
tell you just how extravagantly loved you are by God and that I hope
you know that! Because you are. :)
If
I were having coffee with you I would tell you that Leon is now a cop
with a provisional license. Meaning he's pretty much a supervised cop.
He had to work yesterday which was like the first time he had to work
ever on a Sunday.. I guess it's gonna have to be something I get used
too! The both of us really. His schedule is really all over the place
right now, which is hard for me as a wife because I'm a routine type. I
guess as a cops wife there are many things I'm gonna half to get used
too. But I know with the help of my Jesus Leon and I can get through
anything together. :)But instead of just sitting around on my Sunday evening I really wanted to make my yard look decent so I cut the grass and my Momma Riley planted flowers.. We did a great job and the grass is well, somewhat even. :)
If I were having coffee with you I would tell you how I just can't believe how big Evelynne is getting! I know I say this many times on here but it just blows me away sometimes that my baby girl is almost half a year old.
She's been really determined to be mobile. She'll be on the floor and try to crawl and than scream and cry with frustration because she can't do it yet. I just love how determined she is!
If I were having coffee with you, I would tell you that I've been doing a new bible study this week and I love it already! It's called "She reads truth" I look forward to spending time with my main Man in the mornings. It's so very encouraging. I found out about this Bible study from the lovely Erin.. This girl inspires me daily! So check her out! (if you haven't yet that is)
I would tell you that as a new mom I still need to learn that leaving Evelynne alone for 15 minutes so she can learn to entertain herself while I do dishes in peace is okay. And that I'm not a bad mom for doing so. I still need to learn this.
I would tell you to not forget about the Link up coming up on Wednesday May 1st. On my Birthday. I will give out the questions and stuff the day before (Tomorrow) and the Link up will start on Wednesday. Yaay!
Speaking of Birthdays... I'm gonna be 22 on Wednesday! holy canoli! I still think of myself as a teenager sometimes.. Maybe I'll grow up one of these days ha!
I have been praying and thinking a lot lately. About my singing roots and how I'd really like to start singing again. I used to sing worship at church and at the fair 4 times. I really miss blessing the Lord with my voice.
