He always keeps His promises.

Just sitting here going through my old personal blog posts while my loves are asleep. I came across a poem I wrote back in 2011. I was very blessed to have met my daughter even before she was conceived. God has promised me a little girl and even better He gave me a picture and a memory of her as well. and it still amazes me every day that she is here in my arms today.

A dream of you. 2011
A dream one night, I dreamed of you.
I dreamed of a little girl. Some how I knew.
You are going to be a big part of my life and many others.
You are going to be a pearl in the heart of your Father's
It's so weird how I can love someone I never met.
Or dream of the day we will.
But somehow I know I can be patient for you.
I will listen to Jesus as he says "Be still"
I remember holding you in my arms. I remember the feeling of a mother.
It is an awesome feeling that can't compare to another.
Your small hands, light hair and tiny feet.
I can't wait til the day we meet!
I remember in my dream. The feeling was so real.
Your precious hands I could actually feel.
And then I woke up and realized it was a dream.
I know this was a dream sent from God. a dream to prepare for you.
I know this is something that will one day come true.
Waiting on The Lord is what I will do. And when He brings you to the world
to God I will dedicate you. I love you.
God always keeps His Promises dear friends! Remember that Awesome truth!
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11

Mommy 5 #3

Hola Mama's! I just want to take a moment and give a huge shout out to my dear friend Sarah Who I am so blessed and honored to host with today. LoVe YoU GiRl!

Today Sarah and I would really LOVE to see your top five favorite pictures of your little blessing (or blessings) This can also include sonogram pictures and pregnancy pictures as well! :) Be blessed everyone and have fun!!

Okay for one, I have no idea why I can up with this question because I literally LOVE every picture of my sweet Princess! But I will try to only pick 5. ;)

1. This is one of my most favorites because it was our first picture of her. I remember just gazing at this picture in aww of just how beautiful she was and that she was mine. I have this picture framed in her nursery and every time I'm sitting there nursing her and reading to her as she tries to jump on me and hit me in the face haha, I am reminded of that day when I saw her for the first time moving around and hiding from the camera.

2. This is a shot I got from her newborn session. It was inspired by the verse above of course. For me this picture speaks volumes. God has created her and has known her since the beginning of time. He has formed her and She is beautifully and wonderfully made!  I am a huge fan of all the pictures I got of her NB session but there are many more than 5 there. So if you'd like to see them Evie's NB session.

3.

3. This is one of those "If a picture could say 1000 words" shots.  This image captured the moment of a tired mama who's been up for weeks, living on coffee and the strength of Jesus, who is madly in love with a little girl.

.
4.This was from Evie's Easter session. Wearing the bunny had I made her. Isn't she just darling!?!

5. Okay, need I say more?! There is just nothing sweeter than the love of your life holding his little girl in His strong arms. Sighhhhhhh! <3

Your turn. :) We give you permission to pull out your favorites and show them to us. I can't wait to see all the cuteness!! Much love!! XO

Play date.

My Friend Carolyn & I took our little loves to a Play house which in my opinion is one of my most favorite places yet to take Evie. It's age group is around 6 months to 4 years! Talk about convenient for a mama with small kids.  There was literally everything. A music room, play kitchen, books, car room, and just a room with blocks and puzzles. And to make it all better this wonderful playhouse is owned by a sweet Grandmother who used to watch her Grandson. And she opened this place after her Grandson went to school. She is just a sweet heart. There is a high possibility my daughter will be having her first Birthday here! :)

Don't forget to come back tomorrow to join Sarah & I for our 3rd Mommy 5 Link up!! We want to see your top favorite pictures of your Little love! It can be a sonogram picture or even a pregnancy picture as well! Looking forward to seeing you there! Much love xoxo!

Happy Father's day!

Considering Father's day was yesterday... I'm a little late on this one. In my excuse. I NEVER blog on weekends so yea anyways. Happy Belated Fathers day  to all you Dad's out there!! Because anyone could be a Father but it takes a very special person to be a dad. I'm so blessed to be a wife to a wonderful dad!

Before I met my husband I prayed for three specific things in a husband. A man after God's own heart, An amazing dad, and a man that could make me laugh until my ribs hurt. And The Lord has shown favor upon me and gave me all three of those things and a guy and much more.. What can I say. He's just the whole package deal! Happy Father's day my Mr. Riley!!
Daddy giving Ev some lovin// Leon & I enjoying Frappes on a hot day!// Leon's favorite bread that I make//Mine & Evie's Fathers day  art work// Evie wishing her daddy a Happy Fathers day!!

I would also like to wish a Happy Father's day to my Dad!

God's daughter
& most importantly I want to wish A Happy Fathers day to My Abba Father!  He is the best Dad EVER!!
He has taken me out of darkness, comforted me during many nights of pain, and made me new! He has hidden me in Christ and for that I am forever thankful!
