These women in my life..

As we get closer to Mothers day. I've just been thinking of the amazing women God has put in my life that have been Mothers to me. He has put three women on this earth who have planted seeds in me, inspired me and shaped me into the woman I am today.. Ha, I guess He knew I needed three!
My Mom.. This is my mom, and I'm sure by the way she carries herself you can tell that we carry Native American in our blood. A lot of people tell me I have the meekness of my mom and I take that as a compliment. Anyone honestly who is sitting in a room with her for no longer than five minutes can agree that she is one of the sweetest ladies you'd ever meet! I'm very proud to call this woman my mom! She has such a loving heart.

She's my Naomi.
This is the woman I was proud to adopt as my other mom when I married her adorable son Leon.
This lady is the best woman I could ever ask for in a Momma in law. (And not just because she surprises me with lattes. She has helped Leon and I so much in this last year of marriage and is also helping us a lot in this year of Marriage as Leon and I try to build ourselves up financially. She's also the reason I'm slowly developing a back bone when honestly, I think I was born without one! She is the lady I would never leave.

I stole and adopted this lady!

This lady right here in the middle is actually my Spiritual sister's momma. So, that also makes her my spiritual momma. She has done so much in my life Spiritually. She has helped me see how Jesus really see's me and not how I think He see's me. She has shown me my true identity in Christ. And God has used her so He could break the bandaging chains I carried for too long. We may not be related in any way physically but spiritually she holds a place in my heart as a momma! & she makes amazing "Love Frappes!"

These are my women, my momma's. These are women who I love and appreciate on this Mothers day.

Who are the ladies that hold a special place in your heart?

Three Things Thursday.

Hello Lovelies!!  I hope your week is going wonderfully! <3

Today I am linking up with the Pretty Myranda & Kristyn  for the very fun TTT Link up! I'm so excited about this one this morning because well, I love my Momma!!

This TTT topic today is....
3 Things you LOVE about your Mom.

1.I remember one time I was around eleven years old and it was my mom's Birthday. (Which was yesterday btw!) I was eleven so of course I didn't have a job or money for that matter so instead of buying her something I wanted to do something nice for her.

My mom hates dusting, she really does! So for her birthday I decided that I was going to dust all of her old favorite china dish collection for her birthday. So they will be nice and shiny for her when she gets home. (Can you see where this is going?)

The China was on a shelf hanging on the wall. So as I was stepping on a chair leaning on the shelf to grab her china (BOOM!) I lost my balance, the shelf fell and every piece of china is splattered into pieces along with my heart.

I was literally crushed. I thought I was a horrible daughter and that my mom could never forgive me for ruining her Birthday and her life. I broke her favorite China dishes. (Yeah, I was kinda a drama queen back in the day!)

I didn't know what to say. How was I gonna tell her. I just felt like crawling under a rock so I could cry for the rest of my life.

Finally when my mom came home I went out to meet her. I thought it would be wise of me to tell her before she walked into the crime scene in the house.  As the tears came running down my face I mumbled under my breath "I broke your dishes by accident." Thankfully she could understand me because I really didn't want to repeat myself.

She looked really sad at first and I thought she would have gotten so mad. But instead she got a smile on her face and asked me if I was okay? (That second I realized I wasn't going to be condemned for the rest of my life. My mom still might love me!)
"Yes, I'm okay" I replied with a half smile still heart broken about what I had done. I asked her if she was mad and she answered. "Why would I be mad Heather?" It was an accident because you wanted to help me out by dusting my dishes. I couldn't be mad at you for that. I choose you over my dishes any day!"

This is a really long answer to my first. But I would have to say one of my favorite things about my mom is her love and forgiveness. I will never forget this story and the time I realized that I meant more to her than her china. This will be a story I will tell my little darlings about their Grammy.

2. She's down to earth. My mom is one woman I know who doesn't mind getting dirty! I have never heard her say once to not get dirty as kids. She knew we were kids and if we wanted to make mud pies she'd be right along side of us making mud pies with us. She's a very out doors type of woman who loves to be outside getting dirty with her animals. I love that about her.

3. I love that she would go to the moon and back for her children. She loves us that much. She is such a motherly person. Even my friends as kids wanted to adopt her.

Laughter.. It's something I LOVE to do often!

Do ever just love to laugh?! Of course you do! I mean, who doesn't? So I thought today instead of writing anything I would post some stuff that brings a huge grin out of me and possibly leaves me to start a laughing spell!

HaHahA funny & true!  I actually read a study on breastfeeding and  people who breastfeed end up saving around five thousand a year!! And if that doesn't inspire one to breastfeed enough, you also burn 500 calories daily! Whoohoo!

These are some video's on You tube that I find pretty hilarious!

I asked my beloved Leon to sing me a romantic song while we were dating and this was the best he came up with! Not too romantic but this is definitely something that I will always look back on with a smile and gosh that was a gross song!

This is probably one of this funniest pictures I have of Evie yet! This girl always gets giggles out of me!
So these are just a few things I find hilarious! Where do you get your laughs?

{link-up} MAY IS FOR MOMS

1. Before you ever even had children, how did you feel about being a mother?
I was so in love with the thought! I've always known that my major calling in life was to be a mom! The name just fits me. I used to day dream about it ever since I was a little girl and even had over 20 baby dolls and each one had a name.. And no! -- I never favored them.. Okay maybe I did, haha!

I always knew that being a momma was my calling and when I found out I was pregnant I was so excited but a little terrified because reality officially hit that my life was no longer my own but it belonged to the little life growing inside of me. I thank God everyday for this gift of Motherhood!

2. Since becoming a mother, what is something that has happened that you never thought would?
I never thought I would need "Mommy breaks" as much as I do! Before I had Evelynne I did research, read books. I thought I would be all put together and have this  Mommy thing down as soon as I could walk again. And I thought I could be one of those super moms that could have it all together 24/7.. I've learned in these last 5 Months that no mom has everything put together. That's why we need the help of our Sweet Jesus to guide us. And even Super Momma's need breaks. That's how they become super! Even Batman takes breaks hehe!

3. Is being a mother less difficult, more difficult or exactly how difficult you imagined?
Honestly, I think it really depends on the days and my mood.. When there's a lack of sleep in the midst everything is more difficult. But when a good night sleep happens (which is rare these days) Everything seems to run more smoothly! :)

4. What is your fondest memory of being a mother (so far)?
Oh my gosh! I love everything about being a mom! Especially making our sweet girl laugh and giggle. It brings such joy to my spirit. My husband and I will stand on our heads just to see her giggle!

5. If your children only learn one life lesson from you, what do you hope it is?
To know their identity in Christ. I believe that is really the most important thing someone could know or learn. That we are nothing without Jesus but with Him we are Everything. That there is nothing we can do without Him but with Him we can do All things. And that we were once sinners but Jesus loves us so much that He died for us to make us of Royalty once again. I think this is the most important thing we can know! And I pray my daughter and future kiddo's gets this! It's a powerful thing when one knows their true identity and not the identity that the world has tried to give them!
