We are a new creation!
The second you received Jesus as your Lord and Savior you became a new creation. A new being. Your past and your old ways are no more, they no longer matter. You have died in sin but Jesus resurrected you with His life as a perfect being! Yes, we still sin and are imperfect in the flesh. But God's love and forgiveness covers all multitudes of sins. (1 Peter 4: 8) Because He died on the cross we can now live a life with no condemnation! (Romans 8:1) Jesus never wanted us to have bondage and burdened with condemnation. It was never His will for us. He wants us to have life! And to have life more abundantly. And now because of Jesus we can! He wants us to live a life of freedom. Without the burdens of the world weighing us down. Without the sin of the world hindering us, without fear hindering our every move, and without our past effecting our future. It deeply saddens God when we listen to the world. Because that means we value the worlds opinion over God's. It saddens God when we receive the worlds label on us but we throw God's label for back at Him. Telling Him we are not good enough for His label.. When we do that we are clearly telling Him that His Son didn't cover everything. That Jesus had no effect. That His creation in us isn't good enough. When truth is. It is above good enough. God has created His children as perfect beings. Not because of our deeds or physical appearances. But because of God's Spirit in us. The Son of the living God living in us is what makes us worth it, it's what makes us perfect, it's what makes us Sons and Daughters of

Wow! What excuse does a raccoon have for sneaking on my back porch in daylight? With the risk of getting caught? Is such a thing worth it? Well apparently to this little guy stale honey combs in the recycle bin is to die for!
