Happy Birthday to my sweet girl.

It's honestly so hard for me to believe right now that I'm posting my daughters one year photo! It's so un real and yet such a joyful moment.. It's the biggest milestone of her life and my life as a mama. We honestly couldn't thank Jesus more for the wonderful gift He has given Leon and I. Happy Birthday Precious girl! Daddy and Mama love you so much we can't even describe it in words! You have completed our family for the better and we are so glad God gave us you to raise, to look after and to love.

At 12 Months Evelynne is:

Walking like nobody's business! She also figured out how to walk backwards the other day. It was so cute.

Saying Dada, Up, and Dog.

Imitating us and is trying to do and say what we're doing and saying.

Dancing 

Very interested in stairs and cabinets. 

cuddling a lot more! yay!!

Evelynne is loving:

Mr. Giraffe.

Graham crackers.

Bananas and all kinds of fruit.

Her veggie smoothie

Her rocking horse

Being outside.

Getting out of the stroller and walking on her own.

When dada comes home.

Being read and sung too. 

Darlene Zschech.

Being chased around the house.

Evelynne doesn't like:

Being told "no"

Veggies. (Which is why I've been giving her veggie joice)

Nap time.

Daddy:

Leon is so good with Evelynne now.. I absolutely love watching them play together. Parenting didn't come naturally to Leon at first but I'd say he's a pro now.. He still refuses to change diapers but I don't mind lol As long as He changes them when I'm not home which he agreed to do!

Mama:

Is doing great! Still in a bit of unbelief that Evelynne is one. But it's really a great thing. Watching Evelynne grow up and change is so exciting for me to see.

What I'm looking forward too:

Evelynne saying "mama" and just more words in general.

Her Birthday Party in December.

And Her very first Thanksgiving.

Weight: I wanna say around 20lbs. She has a Doctors appointment in the next couple of weeks.

Happy TEN months to my Darling Piglet.

I know I say this every month literally. But this month I am really feeling it! It's just so hard to believe my baby girl is already 10 months. I remember when Evelynne was just a wee little darling just cooing away and laying swing. I couldn't wait for her to be old enough to start playing and and laughing and everything that a 10 month did. And now that she's actually ten months it's very bittersweet.. There are two different emotions going through me today. Half of me is sad knowing that I only have two more months of Evelynne being a baby and the other half of me is super excited to watch Evelynne grow into the young lady God has created her to be! I've been loving each and every stage of motherhood and every stage is a favorite for me. I am glad  that a baby is only a baby for a year though! I honestly couldn't even imagine a baby being a baby for like five years.. I can imagine many mama's being drained. We need our babies to grow.

But back to my precious baby girl..

Happy 10 months Evelynne. You're a double digit now!!

 

At ten Months Evelynne is:
-Clapping her hands on demand.
- Giving high fives
-learning to blow kisses
- taking four steps.
-playing chase and crawling faster than mama. LOL
-eating pretty much anything now. Loves Banana's. Their probably her favorite food right now! The funny thing is that three months ago she couldn't stand them.
-Wearing 9 to 12 -12 to 18 and some 18 to 24 clothes. It's sooo hard to clothes shop!!
-Wearing 2-3 in shoes.
- in size 4 diapers.
-Weighing 18lbs
-pretty much sleeping through the night
-taking 1 to two naps a day.
-Nursing 2 to 3 times daily.
-Starting to really enjoy morning cuddles

Mama at ten months is:
-Enjoying this baby girl as much as possible
-So excited that Evelynne has developed a new love for cuddling with mama in the morning. It's only for like 5 minutes or so but I'll take it!!
- So blessed.

Daddy at ten Months is-
-A wonderful dad and is finally getting the hang of it.
-Loving taking Evelynne to the park and pushing her on the swings.
-Working so hard so that mama can stay home with baby girl. We couldn't be more appreciative.
- very blessing and is making his family feel the same!

What we're looking forward to:
-Hopefully going apple picking as a family on Monday!!
-Evelynne saying words! She's said "dada" a few times but that's it.. I honestly don't care if she says "dada" first. I just want her to start talking!! lol ;)
- Her first Birthday EEEK!!!I need to get to work!!

P.S Just so you know I AM one of those mama's who talk in a high squeaky voice like my voice isn't high and squeaky enough! lol   I've become one of those mama's I thought I never would be.. But now I totally get why we talk in high squeaky voices.. Because it's a mama's thing and it's really the only voice babies react to! At least my baby lol






Happy 10 Months baby girl!!! You have made our lives so complete and blessed!! God has blessed us beyond measure.

Evelynne's first swimming pool!

 We quickly found out that Evelynne is a BIG fan of water.. She loves it! Bath water, drinking water, the lake.. So her Gandma took her out and bought Evelynne her very own swimming pool. And it's so adorable!

Evelynne loves it! She had so much fun.. Though I think she'll be one of those kids that like to get out just to jump back in again! As you can see in the pictures we had a blast.

 

We want to wish you a Happy July 4th!

Happy Fourth of July Friends! I am so grateful for the freedom I have and for our soldiers and police officers who fight every day and risking their own lives to defend our freedom! I often feel as though they're not recognized or appreciated enough. So major shout out to you Ladies and Gentlemen. I thank each and every one of you for your service!

I'm so glad to be free! & to live in a country that's free. I'm blessed that I live in a country to where I can open up my bible at a star bucks  without the fear of authorities seeing me and dragging me off to jail.. A thought like that hasn't even crossed my mind while opening my bible at a star bucks. And I'm so blessed I don't have to live like that. But my heart yearns for those who are murdered and prosecuted to this day just because they just own a bible.

I'm glad we have the freedom  to make a difference in the world we live in. I'm glad we have the opportunity to speak up and fight for the innocent. Though I am often thinking of ways to make my voice louder and more effective. I really don't plan on leaving this earth until every abortion clinic is closed and burned to the ground.

And most importantly friends, I'm so extremely blessed for my Freedom in Christ. This is a freedom to really rejoice and shout about. For if I didn't carry this freedom no other freedom would matter. I would be nothing. I am free from my past, present and future. I'm free from what ever comes my way.. Being free in Jesus just makes this life  worth living. Yay Jesus!!

Half a year

I can't believe my little love is half a year old! Six months on Saturday. I know I say that every month, but this month is taking it to a new level well, because she's half a year old!

 It's been half a year of cuddles, laughing and unconditional love. I honestly never thought I could love a little person so much. It's so easy. I just love her so much. and this little one is always on my mind. Even after a tiring day I still long for her after she's sleeping on her tummy with her bum in the air, sucking her little thumb. My heart longs to be with her and cuddle with her a little more.Because I know she's growing and that will never stop. She won't always be relying on me for everything, or even want to sit on my lap and cuddle. I will miss it dearly but I am very excited and blessed that God has given me the opportunity to watch this little girl grow.
 

At 6 Months Evelynne is:
Sitting up perfectly.
Gives kisses (Sometimes)
Babbling much more often.
Standing on all fours and almost crawling which turns into jumping with all fours. (Eventually she'll get to where she wants to go. 
Eating more and more solids including small pieces of actual food.
Laughing at everything.
Loving to be read too!

Evelynne growing up has become a deeper  reality when we met our little cousin for the first time! Evelynne looks like a giant compared to little Miss Natalie! To think that 6 months ago I was holding Evie that size.

Happy 6 Months beautiful! God has blessed us abundantly. <3
