Your Impact on Strangers

                   If you want to touch the past, touch a rock.
                          If you want to touch the present, touch a flower.
                              If you want to touch the future, touch a life.

I love the acronym for Joy (Jesus,Others,Yourself) Because it reminds me of what pure joy really is!
I believe living for Jesus is the best kinda joy there is! Because He is the giver of all life and happiness.
And I believe that Jesus wants us to be a light to those around us so they can see the joy He has given us through us. I remember when I worked at Panera bread, for a while my mindset on work was a bit off. I had the thought "Man, Work again? I gotta deal with a bunch of grumpy costumers that are mean to me for no reason". God has shown me what was wrong here. Yea, I was at Panera bread to make money, but God told me I was there for other purposes as well. And that was to be a light to others so that they could see what joy I had in Jesus! And after God had renewed my thinking I started to wake up refreshed and full of joy. Praying to be used everyday. So many people wondered why I was happy, and why I was even nice to the customers who treated me wrongly. I even had a few come and ask me why I was so happy? And  of course I told them It's all Jesus! God has shown me how important it is to touch a life and to take the time to make someones day! God has shown me to think from the customers point of view. Maybe they had a rough day themselves, maybe they lost an important family member and they don't know how to handle it, maybe that lady who yelled at you just found out her husband cheated on her with her best friend, or maybe that person who called you stupid grew up all alone because everyone she loved, she lost. And even though that doesn't make it right to treat you like an insect, but instead of thinking "How dare they treat me that way! How about we try making there day better.. It not only makes ourselves feel better but I bet there day will be better too!

Yes, I have played this video before. But it's just so inspiring to me I had to post it twice!!  See how God can use us each day. That when we are impacting a life, We just might be impacting the whole world!!
