Over Coffee.

It's been getting so warm here! Like 80 degrees here people. And for the first time this year I had Iced coffee instead of warm.. I always get the Iced Carmel  latte with whip. It's so good! I think everyone in Panera bread has recognized me by now due to me going there for coffee. Yep, I got a gift card for my Birthday!

If I were having coffee with you today I would ask you how your Mother's day was? Did you do anything fun?

I was blessed to actually have a Mother's day weekend. On Friday my husband took Evie so I could have a Mothers day out at Panera Bread and do some writing. I also was blessed to encourage an older woman by telling her Jesus loved her. She looked at me like I had four eyes and said "Thanks" But I believe deep down she was blessed by it and I know I blessed Jesus by obeying Him which makes it all worth it! Did you know Jesus loves you dear friend?? Because He does! More than you know. <3
I must have been smoking hot that day too! Because I've noticed quite a few guys checking this MARRIED mamma out haha! I even had to tell this one guy who looked in his mid 30's  I was married. I honestly don't know what it is about ladies in Sunhats. It just turns their heads! haha

On Saturday my loving husband made me these rocking pancakes!! I ate like three! (I bet you can guess it was a lazy day after that haha!) It was full of "Lost" series and eating junky yummy stuff!
I honestly can't tell you just how blessed I am to be a Mamma! Some people dream of being famous singers, or actors and maybe even comedians. But not this girl! Being a Mamma is my dream come true. When you're a mom you're really all those things and much more. I mean my baby girl thinks I'm the funniest person ever!! Okay maybe second to her Daddy. He's pretty funny! Especially when he does "Jim Carrey" Impressions.

Evelynne's really getting into this whole eating solids thing. She loves food and shows so much excitement. She's now eating breakfast, lunch and dinner and nurses on the side for snacks.

And did I mention she's wearing a size 3 diapers. Man they grow quick!

If I were having coffee with you, I'd tell you that "Mommy hood" is so much better when you have a helpful Co-worker  that's a goof ball! And did I mention he's cute too!?! Because He is!!
This is what I would tell you if I was privileged to have your company. What would you tell me?

These women in my life..

As we get closer to Mothers day. I've just been thinking of the amazing women God has put in my life that have been Mothers to me. He has put three women on this earth who have planted seeds in me, inspired me and shaped me into the woman I am today.. Ha, I guess He knew I needed three!
My Mom.. This is my mom, and I'm sure by the way she carries herself you can tell that we carry Native American in our blood. A lot of people tell me I have the meekness of my mom and I take that as a compliment. Anyone honestly who is sitting in a room with her for no longer than five minutes can agree that she is one of the sweetest ladies you'd ever meet! I'm very proud to call this woman my mom! She has such a loving heart.

She's my Naomi.
This is the woman I was proud to adopt as my other mom when I married her adorable son Leon.
This lady is the best woman I could ever ask for in a Momma in law. (And not just because she surprises me with lattes. She has helped Leon and I so much in this last year of marriage and is also helping us a lot in this year of Marriage as Leon and I try to build ourselves up financially. She's also the reason I'm slowly developing a back bone when honestly, I think I was born without one! She is the lady I would never leave.

I stole and adopted this lady!

This lady right here in the middle is actually my Spiritual sister's momma. So, that also makes her my spiritual momma. She has done so much in my life Spiritually. She has helped me see how Jesus really see's me and not how I think He see's me. She has shown me my true identity in Christ. And God has used her so He could break the bandaging chains I carried for too long. We may not be related in any way physically but spiritually she holds a place in my heart as a momma! & she makes amazing "Love Frappes!"

These are my women, my momma's. These are women who I love and appreciate on this Mothers day.

Who are the ladies that hold a special place in your heart?

Three Things Thursday.

Hello Lovelies!!  I hope your week is going wonderfully! <3

Today I am linking up with the Pretty Myranda & Kristyn  for the very fun TTT Link up! I'm so excited about this one this morning because well, I love my Momma!!

This TTT topic today is....
3 Things you LOVE about your Mom.

1.I remember one time I was around eleven years old and it was my mom's Birthday. (Which was yesterday btw!) I was eleven so of course I didn't have a job or money for that matter so instead of buying her something I wanted to do something nice for her.

My mom hates dusting, she really does! So for her birthday I decided that I was going to dust all of her old favorite china dish collection for her birthday. So they will be nice and shiny for her when she gets home. (Can you see where this is going?)

The China was on a shelf hanging on the wall. So as I was stepping on a chair leaning on the shelf to grab her china (BOOM!) I lost my balance, the shelf fell and every piece of china is splattered into pieces along with my heart.

I was literally crushed. I thought I was a horrible daughter and that my mom could never forgive me for ruining her Birthday and her life. I broke her favorite China dishes. (Yeah, I was kinda a drama queen back in the day!)

I didn't know what to say. How was I gonna tell her. I just felt like crawling under a rock so I could cry for the rest of my life.

Finally when my mom came home I went out to meet her. I thought it would be wise of me to tell her before she walked into the crime scene in the house.  As the tears came running down my face I mumbled under my breath "I broke your dishes by accident." Thankfully she could understand me because I really didn't want to repeat myself.

She looked really sad at first and I thought she would have gotten so mad. But instead she got a smile on her face and asked me if I was okay? (That second I realized I wasn't going to be condemned for the rest of my life. My mom still might love me!)
"Yes, I'm okay" I replied with a half smile still heart broken about what I had done. I asked her if she was mad and she answered. "Why would I be mad Heather?" It was an accident because you wanted to help me out by dusting my dishes. I couldn't be mad at you for that. I choose you over my dishes any day!"

This is a really long answer to my first. But I would have to say one of my favorite things about my mom is her love and forgiveness. I will never forget this story and the time I realized that I meant more to her than her china. This will be a story I will tell my little darlings about their Grammy.

2. She's down to earth. My mom is one woman I know who doesn't mind getting dirty! I have never heard her say once to not get dirty as kids. She knew we were kids and if we wanted to make mud pies she'd be right along side of us making mud pies with us. She's a very out doors type of woman who loves to be outside getting dirty with her animals. I love that about her.

3. I love that she would go to the moon and back for her children. She loves us that much. She is such a motherly person. Even my friends as kids wanted to adopt her.
