I came across this video a few days ago because lately I have been quite addicted to godtube videos! It made my heart smile and I hope you are deeply encouraged by it as I was!
My morning so far has been quite eventful! God is showing me and encouraging me more each day as I seek His beautiful face!
Of course I started my morning with the delicious taste of fruitiness that can only come from Fred Flinstone....Well, his cereal that is! No not him. Ahh! I would love to introduce to you one of my hobbies "Mitch match socking" And you know I can't go a morning without a nice hot cup of green tea! It just hits the spot as I continue to Bible dig! I love my quiet mornings with Jesus.
So, last night and this morning I have been attacked with a self mind battle. Until God showed me something in a book! I'm reading "Words that move mountains" By E.W. Kenyon and Don Gossett. I really wanted to share it with you because it helped out a lot and has put much joy in my heart this morning as I pray it does yours as well.
My NEVER AGAIN list
A Bold Challenge To "Speak The Word Only" Matt. 8:8
FIRST: Never Again will I confess "I can't," For I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me." Philippians 4:13.
SECOND: Never Again will I confess lack, for "My God shall supply all my need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:19.
THIRD: Never Again will I confess fear, for "God hath not given me the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." II Timothy 1:7.
FOURTH: Never Again will I confess doubt and lack of faith, for "God hath given to every man the measure of faith." Romans 12:3.
FIFTH: Never Again will I confess weakness, for "The Lord is the strength of my life." Ps. 7:1 and The people that know their God shall be strong and do exploits." Daniel 11:32.
SIXTH: Never Again will I confess supremacy of Satan over my life, for "Greater is He that is within me
than he that is in the world." I John 4:4.
SEVENTH: Never Again will I confess defeat, for "God always causeth me to triumph in Christ Jesus."
II Corinthians 2:14.
EIGHTH: Never Again will I confess lack of wisdom for "Christ Jesus is made unto me wisdom from God." I Corinthians 1:30.
NINTH: Never Again will I confess sickness, for "With His stripes I am healed." Isaiah 53:5, and Jesus
"Himself took my infirmities and bare my sicknesses." Matthew 8:17.
TENTH: Never Again will I confess worries and
frustrations, for I am "Casting all my cares upon Him who careth for me." I Peter 5:7. In Christ I am "care‑free!"
ELEVENTH: Never
Again will I confess bondage, for "Where the Spirit of the Lord is,
there is liberty." II Corinthians 3:17. My body is the temple of the
Holy Spirit!
TWELFTH: Never
Again will I confess condemnation, for "There is therefore now no
condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus." Romans 8:1. I am in
Christ; therefore, I am free from condemnation.
Is this awesome or what! Guess where this list is gonna be for now on? Yep! On my desk and in my journal. And I just might add some more lists to this one. For there is power in the spoken word!
I encourage each and everyone of you to write this down or make your own and quote each day before you start it. I bet your day would be more victorious!
So, "Words that move mountains" is most defiantly a recommendation from me so far. Another one I wish to add this morning is "What is he thinking" By the one and only "Rebecca St James.
In WHAT IS HE THINKING??, Rebecca interviews a range of men from high-profile types to the guys next door, men that every woman can relate to. Although the interviews focus on single guys ages 20-35, Rebecca also includes words of wisdom from older mentors she respects who have been successfully married for years, people like her dad, life coach, and pastor.
The men share their thoughts on topics like how women can respect themselves and the men in their lives, modesty, purity, taking it slow, friendship, letting guys lead, and more. This book gives them the floor to say what they would really like women to know.
The men respond candidly to questions such as:
- What is the most attractive quality to you in a woman?
- Is modesty truly attractive?
- Is neediness a turn-off?
- What do you find beautiful?
- How can we be dependent on God for our identity, not on you?
- How can we help you with boundaries physically?
This is a must read book! If you're one of those precious ladies who wonders "where did all the good guys go? This book is looking for you! I have received this book from the author herself, when I met this sweet young woman. And I recommend that all of you ladies get your hands on this book.
Happy Friday all!
Yours truly: Heather.
